School Safety
Reviewed school safety plan which is in our handbook located on our website.
We buzz in all visitors and parents into the building and require ID.
If we need to evacuate off-site we go to the church building on 5th South and 7th North - This is where unification of students and families would occur.
We will look at the Cache County reunification video to see if we want to incorporate something like that. - Might be better for parents.
We considered putting the video and information on multiple places for example: facebook. etc.
Digital citizenship
All parents and students signed that they will be responsible for the computers.
If ANYTHING inappropriate is accessed on a student computer the administrator is notified ASAP and they are brought in to figure out what's going on.
School positive behavior plan
Blue tickets are given out for positive behavior school-wide.
5 tickets are drawn per day and students are given a pencil.
The student's names are put on a board and once 10 in a row are filled up those kids get an extra activity
We would like to look into getting a PTA Grant to give more support for teachers - for example: prizes to hand out, lunches or things during meetings etc.
