  • Safety Update- Isabelle Obray and Marisa

  • Isabell and Marisa went to a meeting with people in the city to hear the results from their study. The results showed the following:

    • We did warrant school crosswalks, so those will be updated soon

    • They will also provide flags for students to use when crossing

    • Adult crossing guards are optional, but not warranted, so the city will not pay for it

    • We did not qualify for a school zone (i.e. sign with the flashing lights to signal 20 mph speed limit)

    • They said we can have someone be a crossing guard, the course is optional

    • The plan is to train one of our aides to be a crossing guard for the intersection on 500 N & 400 E

  • *Notes: Marisa will send the Safety Report and New Land Trust Rules to the council and update the School Land Trust information on our school website.
