Fundraising Update: We have raised $700 as of Friday, October 17th. 

• The school has decided to extend it for another week to try to earn more by putting out more advertisements for it.

• Community Council members brought up that they like this fundraiser more than the Cache Valley Direct books.

Mark volunteered to be a part of the Calendar Committee.

• The council all said we like ending school before Memorial Day.

The school Spelling Bee is earlier than usual this year because Cache County Schools invited us to a competition.

LAND Trust and Teacher and Student Success Act Plan (TSSA)

• Review the current School LAND Trust Plan and Teacher and Student Success Act Plan (TSSA)

• Goal: By the end of the 2025-26 school year, at least 70% of Adams Elementary students will score above benchmark (Blue) on the Acadience Reading composite assessment.

• Rationale: The goal is in line with the state literacy goal for Acadience data. For the last seven years, we have had an average of 68% of students scoring above benchmark (Blue). We decided to stretch that a little by adding 2% to our goal.

• Marisa brought up the reading interventions that we are doing as a school to help our students improve their reading skills.

TSSA funds: 

• LCSD uses these funds to strengthen our salary schedule and to support instructional coach positions in all schools

We then discussed a few upcoming events, focusing mainly on the Literacy Night on November 12th.
