Changes to Calendar
Just so everyone is aware, we had to move around a few things on our April/May calendar. The cheer and soccer competition has been moved to APRIL 26. Because of this, we also moved our guest speaker (Just Jumpin) to MAY 10. Thank you!
Highlights from Parent Night
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came to our parent night last Thursday. We really appreciate all the support we get from the parents. Those who came got to participate in STEAM activities, including: making homemade ice cream (science), dice games (math), a readers theater(art), building with Popsicle sticks(engineering), and a human coding activity(technology). We hope that these activities helped give you some ideas on how to apply STEAM based activities in your own home and encourage you to do so. Thanks again for your support!
Fire Department
On Tuesday, March 26th, kindergarten and first grade got to go on a field trip to the fire station. They got to see what a firefighter’s job is like and look inside an ambulance and fire truck! They also were able to see the different tools and gear the firefighters use. They had so much fun! Here are some pictures from the field trip.

SNAG Golf
On Monday, we had some guest speakers from the golf course come to teach our 4th and 5th graders the fundamental principles of golf. They then discussed how these principles apply to real life. These principles include: honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and judgement. The guest speakers also taught the students how to hold a golf club and they had fun practicing their swing.
Tying Blankets
Today the students had the opportunity to tie blankets that will be donated to the hospital. They also drew pictures and wrote notes for those in the hospital. The students had a lot of fun doing this. Adams Owls love to serve others!

Fun Park
This past Thursday, after school club went to the Fun Park for our end of the session field trip. The students were so excited! We were fortunate enough to be able to rent out the entire fun center, so the students were able to enjoy laser tag, billiards, bowling, soft play, and roller skating. Some students learned how to skate for the first time, and were pro by the end! It was a successful field trip and we have enjoyed having all of your children in after school club!
Art Club
The students who chose art club were able to learn all about art and practice drawing and paining. In these pictures, they were practicing drawing step by step. They also learned about and practiced shading. Their drawings turned out awesome!
